Gun
Care
When
using a CO2 bottle, make sure that an O-ring is attached
to the bottle's nozzle.
Make
sure all O-Rings are flush with the grooves that they lie
in. An O-ring should not rise above the trench that it lies
in.
Proper
maintenance for a functional paintball marker:
After
every 3 or 4 games, you have to clean your marker, or as
necessary depending on usage (paint breaks). If you are
not familiar with breaking down your marker, contact a dealer,
or an experienced player on how to break down your marker
and clean it. Using rubbing alcohol and firm brush is recommended.
If you use water, make sure the parts are thoroughly dry
before re-assembly.
Periodically,
every month or so, we recommend you use gun oil or paintball
gun oil. A company named Hoppe's No.9 produces products
for gun care that apply to paintball markers. Apply the
gun oil to the cocking slot onto the hammer, and put a few
drops in the bottom-line before screwing the CO2 bottle
in. Firing a few shots will distribute the oil to the internal
parts of the marker. Do not over oil your gun because certain
types of oil cause the o-rings to expand, which leads to
certain problems.
Do
not overtighten the Allen screws.
Troubleshooting
| Problem |
Solution
|
| Paintball
Marker shoots too fast |
- Reduce
the velocity by turning the velocity adjuster counter
clockwise
- Make
a softer spring, either by cutting no more than
1-2 cms from the spring, or buying a softer spring
|
|
Paintball Marker shoots too slow |
- Change
to harder spring
- The
Marker is dirty
- The
wrong gun oil is being used
- the
spring is worn out
|
|
Paintball Marker Chops balls |
- Adjust
your velocity, make sure it fires faster than 240
fps and less than 300 fps.
- Make
sure the quality of paint is suitable for the gun(see
below)
|
|
Paintball Marker leaks where the bottle connects to
the gun (bottom line) |
- Make
sure that the CO2 bottle has an O-ring attached
to the nozzle
|
|
Paintball Marker Rapid Fires |
This
conditions occurs during a few situations:
- CO2
bottle is low on gas.
- It
is too cold. An expansion chamber will remedy the
situation
- The
velocity is too low

| How
to Determine Bad paint |
Paint
is very fragile, and needs to be taken care of, and
used immediately.
- Always
use your paint as soon as possible. When paint is
sedentary for long periods of time, the liquid will
settle to the bottow, disforming the ball, which
tends to cause erratic flightpaths and chopping,
and weakening of the paintball wall, which leads
to breaks
- If
you have to store paint, please store it in a cool
dry place. Heat and moisture weakens and deforms
the balls, which leads to breaks and

Compatibility
Barrels:
The GT Commando
series are compatible with Spyder threads.
The Diamond
GT series are compatible with AutoCocker.
We do strongly
recommend you try the barrel out first before purchasing.
The barrel manufacturer should have more detailed information
on which marker is compatible with their barrel.
Electronic
Grips:
Neither the
Diamond GT series or GT Commando series is currently compatible
with electronic trigger/grip assemblies.
Nitrogen
systems:
Both the GT
Commando series and the Diamond GT series are compatible
with nitrogen systems.
